Chapter seven in The Bedford Book of Genres talks about how to integrate sources, and how to cite and document sources using two styles. I believe this chapter is very important and important for writers to learn when constructing and essay. In the book it describes integrating your sources as, "We also mean showing how the source material we've used relates to other source material-does it agree with other sources?"

It also gives some important advice on how to quote correctly and how to summarize. What helped me the most was the advice about paraphrasing because I was always shaky about this issue and when it should be used. Then it goes on to discuss different documenting styles that can be used such as MLA, APA, Chicago Style and CSE.
