The McGraw-Hill handbook explains how it is important to use a various number of sources. Speeding out your research and giving yourself options is a good idea escpesially if its required for your assignment. There are a bunch of sources you can choose to start from: general and specialized, books and articles, print and online. Primary sources I believe are the most important because they can strengthen your argument and be more reliable. I usually always include at least one primary source although they may be more difficult to find. Using a database such as a schools library online is extremely helpful, however, it is important to use the correct key words when searching your topic. Florida State University has an extremly advanced database that has already helped me begin my research project.
