OVERALL REFLECTION 

I usually don't enjoy writing papers, however, I really enjoyed writing my project one paper because it brought back a lot of memories. It let me express how I felt about my team and let me share that with others. This paper actually made me realize how much I missed being in this commuinty and encouraged me to join an intramural flag football team. Although it will never replace my original community it felt good to be apart of something again. This paper let me realize how much I accomplished on my high school football team. Being a captain was extremely important to me and the traditions I helped make, made me feel important. To know that they will continue after me and that I made something that will help others through high school, because we all know how hard it is. It also helped me remember how great it was to be on the field and how as soon as you touched the feild nothing else mattered. If you were stressed in school having trouble with your family it couldn't follow you out there. Even if you were in a fight with a team mate some how it would be resolved by the end of the game with out even speaking to each other.

As a reader I believe starting at my first draft and reading through I have made a lot of progress. My organization improved, and my text was explained better. I felt reading this paper brought back a lot of memories from Flag football and my experiences helped build my argument. I thought it was creative and was never bored while reading it. As a writer it was difficult to start just like it always is but once I got the momentum it was better. Every time I went back to read it over I remembered new things and would add on or have another experience to add in. I liked the way the paper was due with more and more words each time. It helped me manage time between each due date and keep me on schedule. It is usually hard for me to write and keep up with what is due, however, the conference and the individual check points helped me. As a researcher it was easy to find articles about Flag football but it was a little more difficult to find a specific topic. I had a good amount of academic research. I conducted two interviews from my teammates that helped my argument. I felt personal experiences really helped my argument since I have me plus two others who agreed with my argument. I found many articles that supported points in my argument and I think my variety of research is very good and it helped my argument.

Project three proved to be the most challenging for me. It took me forever to figure out what my three genres would be. After brainstorming for the longest time and discussing it with Mat and my friend I finally figured it out. I decided the shirt because all sports can be expressed by a shirt. Even if it started out as a project for a class my team decided they liked the shirts and we are actually going to buy them for fall term. The play book used my old experience from my coach, like the 99 plays. Most of the plays are made by my team since having 4 v. 4 is way different than 7 v. 7. The flyers were the most difficult to make but I felt accomplished once I did. I posted them around my dorm because al lot of the freshman did not know about intramural sports. Overall this class was the first english class I enjoyed. I have never enjoyed english because of my dyslexia but this class was strictly about trying to help me and enjoying writing. I never felt nervous or judged.
